People started asking for the monthly stickers in advance
Every month at NNU, a bunch of us would meet in a random classroom, drink root beer, and pretend it was 1926. I founded Root Beer Club as a goof, but then thought, what if the brand actually looked legit? So I built a full identity around it: a custom art deco typeface, 1920s-themed collectible stickers (new designs each month), and a short video styled like a bootlegged propaganda reel to showcase the type design. What started as a quirky idea turned into a fully realized visual system. Vintage, weird, and genuinely joyful.
