Murph Patch for CDFW

Problem:
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife needed a custom embroidered badge for their Murph Challenge event on Memorial Day- and they needed it fast. The design had to be delivered in time for the holiday.

Solution:
I worked quickly to design a patch that balanced visual clarity with meaningful details about the Murph Challenge. The layout and color choices ensured legibility at a small scale, even when stitched. From concept to final production files, I completed the design in one day, allowing CDFW to have the badges ready for Memorial Day distribution. The result was a patch that both honored the event’s significance and met the tight turnaround without sacrificing quality.
